Protect Your Peace

In times of uncertainty and rapid change, feeling ungrounded is natural. I’ve learned that protecting my peace starts with being intentional about where I focus my energy. One way I do this is by preparing—creating structure in my day, nourishing my body with supportive foods, and learning new skills that strengthen my resilience. At the same time, I protect my inner calm by setting clear boundaries, limiting my exposure to stressors, and making space for rest and reflection.

This week, I invite you to join me in choosing one small way to protect your peace—whether it’s stepping away from social media, creating a soothing evening ritual, or saying no to something that drains you. Notice how it shifts your sense of stability and helps you ground into what feels steady and safe.

Read | As spring arrives, the body naturally seeks to shed the heaviness of winter and embrace renewal. According to Ayurveda and traditional medicine, the liver plays a crucial role in this seasonal transition, helping to detoxify and restore balance. Here are eleven effective ways to support your liver’s natural cleansing process this spring, promoting vitality and overall well-being.

Try This | A gentle self-massage over the area where your liver rests (right upper abdomen, beneath the ribs) can stimulate circulation and promoting the release of stored tension, toxins, and stagnant emotions. Using warm sesame oil, massage in slow, circular motions while taking deep, mindful breaths. This practice can help to encourage bile flow for better digestion, and may release pent-up anger or frustration. Pairing the massage with affirmations like “I release what no longer serves me” can enhance its cleansing effect, both physically and emotionally.
