Intention Over Resolution

As we step into this new year, I invite you to honor the power of intention over resolution. Resolutions often focus on specific goals or outcomes, driven by external pressures or societal “shoulds.” They can feel rigid and sometimes overwhelming. Intentions, however, are rooted in self-compassion and mindfulness. They invite us to connect with what truly matters and create a gentle framework for growth without a fixed endpoint.

This year, start with your heart. Decide what matters to you, and commit to your intention. One breath. One movement. One moment at a time.

Inspire | “We all get the exact same 365 days. The only difference is what we do with them.” Hillary DePiano

Read | In my preparations for the new calendar year, I read this article about 7 Gentle Permission Slips to Help You Reset, Let Go and Thrive. I especially love #5.

Try This | Each morning, as you wake up, take a moment before reaching for your phone. Place your hands over your heart and tune in. Pause to connect with your heart before connecting with your phone.
