Hope is an optimistic state of mind about our own lives and the world around us. It does not just happen. We have to work to nurture it and help it grow. As you move through this week, pause and notice when you feel hopeful. Ask yourself what you can do to nourish that feeling. Get out and make those good things happen.

Watch | Hope is a touching short film about a baby sea turtle overcoming a number of obstacles between egg and the ocean. While the journey is difficult and sometimes sad, this brave turtle perseveres. I hope you find the beauty in this film just as I did.
Try This | Grab a journal or scrap piece of paper and something to write with. Sit somewhere comfortable, and give yourself a few moments to reflect and write. Ask yourself: Have you seen anything recently that gave you hope? Write about what you experienced and why it made you feel hopeful. How did this feeling of hope change your perspective of your current situation? Will this allow you to think or act differently in the future?
