There is a quiet beauty in the ordinary moment you are living right now. But it can become easy to miss it when we’re searching for something more extraordinary, something bigger, something just ahead.
As I walked through my neighborhood this weekend, I paused to really take in the world around me. The vibrant yellows, greens, and purples pushing up from the earth. The sounds of birds returning, squirrels moving with new energy, and the gentle rain falling from above.
At first glance, these signs of life returning felt ordinary, easy to pass by on the way to somewhere else. But when I slowed down and truly noticed them, they revealed something extraordinary… life unfolding in real time.
This week, take a moment to pause and simply look around. Notice what is already here. The ordinary has a way of becoming extraordinary when we give it our attention.
Nothing needs to change. Nothing needs to be added. Just this moment, as it is.
