This past weekend, Jeremy and I were able to take the day to celebrate our 13th wedding anniversary by canoeing on the Kankakee River. It was a beautiful day to be outdoors and immersed in nature. As we floated downstream, I could not help but observe an abundance of dragonflies flitting about us (and trying to get into Jeremy’s mouth).
Dragonflies are said to be the keepers of dreams, the energy within that sees all of our true potential and ability. They inspire spirituality and creativity and help us on the path toward discovery and enlightenment. Dragonflies remind us that anything is possible.
As Jeremy and I begin a new year in our marriage, and, as a commUNITY, we commence a fresh week, I invite us all to remember the lessons that dragonflies share: dream, see potential, create, discover, and remember that anything is possible.
